Owens fifth with Hunt the Front Super Dirt Series at Southern; holds onto slim points lead

Jimmy Owens and the Koehler Motorsports crew made the long trip down to Southern Raceway (Milton, Fla.) on Saturday afternoon after losing Friday's $8,000-to-win opener to bad weather and checked in with the Hunt the Front Super Dirt Series for the $12,000-to-win Rumble at the Races finale.

Finishing fourth in a heat race, Owens started seventh in the 50-lap main event and kept his nose clean to round out the Top-5 in fifth.

Owens holds a slim 2-point lead over Mitchell in the HTFSDS point standings.
