Owens takes runner-up honors in Cotton Pickin' at Magnolia Motor Speedway

Jimmy Owens checked into Magnolia Motor Speedway (Columbus, Miss.) on Friday evening and unloaded the Koehler Motorsports No. 20 machine among a field of 42 Comp Cams Super Late Models for the annual Cotton Pickin'.

Laying down the second-fastest lap in his time trial group, Owens went on to pick up a heat race victory and earn his spot in Saturday's finale. Jimmy started from the second row in the 60-lap, $20,000-to-win finale and finished second behind Trey Mills. Neil Baggett, Spencer Hughes, and Cade Dillard completed the Top-5.
