Jimmy Owens places fifth in Scott Bloomquist Memorial at Volunteer Speedway
On Thursday evening, Jimmy Owens joined a field of 41 Super Late Models at Volunteer Speedway (Bulls Gap, Tenn.) for the first-ever Scott Bloomquist Memorial with the FloRacing Night in America Series.
Owens qualified the Koehler Motorsports No. 20 machine third-quickest in his group before finishing runner-up to Dale McDowell in his heat race. Jimmy started sixth and finished fifth in the 50-lap, $20,018-to-win main event.
