Jordan and Evan compete with Southern Thunder at Cherokee; Jordan earns podium finish
On Saturday afternoon, both Koehler brothers made the trip to Cherokee Speedway (Gaffney, S.C.) on Saturday afternoon for the 25th-annual Grassy Smith Memorial.
Among 30 Southern Thunder/Cherokee Chief entries, Evan and Jordan transferred to the $10,000-to-win main event through the heat races with Evan starting from the fifth-row and Jordan starting on the outside pole. Evan drove to a Top-10 finish in ninth while Jordan dueled leaders Chris Ferguson and Joseph Joiner to land on the podium in third.
