Top-10 outing in Swainsboro Raceway finale with World of Outlaws
Following the World of Outlaws Late Model Series to Georgia, Jimmy Owens was one of the 42 Late Models checked in at Swainsboro (Ga.) Raceway on Friday afternoon for the first night of the Battle at the Crossroads.
Owens clocked in second-fastest in his time trials group before picking up the heat race win and redrawing the fourth starting position. Jimmy was caught up in a massive lap 1 pileup that sent him to the rear. Owens finished 18th.
Jimmy found some better luck during Saturday's finale and brought home a solid 10th-place finish in the $15,000-to-win feature.
Jimmy Owens is currently 11th in the World of Outlaw Point Standings.
