Jimmy Owens sixth with World of Outlaws at Smoky Mountain Speedway
Jimmy Owens unloaded his Koehler Motorsports No. 20 machine at Smoky Mountain Speedway (Maryville, Tenn.) on Friday afternoon for the two-day Tennessee Tipoff with the World of Outlaws Late Model Series.
With over 40 Late Models on site, Owens qualified third-quickest in his group before he grabbed the checkered flag in his heat race. Jimmy started fourth in the $12,000-to-win feature and finished sixth after 35 laps.
Saturday's $15,000-to-win finale was called off due to the potential for severe weather.
