Jimmy Owens continues Speedweeks grind with Lucas Dirt at Ocala Speedway
Prepped for five days straight at the facility, Jimmy Owens and his Koehler Motorsports team joined the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series at Ocala (Fla.) Speedway on Tuesday afternoon for the first night of the Wieland Winter Nationals.
Starting 15th in the $7,000-to-win opener, Owens raced to a Top-10 finish in 10th. The following two nights, Jimmy missed the main events with eighth-place finishes in his B-Mains.
Owens made the final two features of race week, recording a 15th-place outing on Friday evening before finishing 22nd in Saturday's $25,000 finale.
