Koehler Motorsports take on Gateway Dirt Nationals at The Dome at America's Center
A trio of Koehler Motorsport entries were in action during the eighth-annual Gateway Dirt Nationals at The Dome at America's Center (St. Louis, Mo.). Ricky Thornton Jr. and Jimmy Owens pulled double duty in both the Super Late Model and Modified divisions while Evan Koehler joined them in his Super Late Model.
Owens competed in the Super Late Model portion on Thursday evening where he would score a Top-10 finish in the $5,000-to-win preliminary feature. The following night, Jimmy would miss the Modified prelim by just one spot in his B-Main. During both of his qualifiers on Saturday night, Owens fell backwards and did not make either main event.
Evan Koehler finished ninth in a heat race on Friday before charging forward in a non-qualifier race to finish eighth.
