North/South 100 brings Koehler Motorsports to Florence Speedway
Joined by his teammate Jordan Koehler for the weekend, Jimmy Owens returned to Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series competition at Florence Speedway (Walton, Ky.) on Thursday afternoon for the North/South 100 weekend.
With two nights of preliminary action on tap, Owens and Koehler made feature events on Thursday and Friday with Owens finishing sixth and 11th while Koehler finished 19th and 18th.
For Saturday's $75,000-to-win finale, Jimmy made the main event by grabbing the final spot in his heat race while Jordan missed the A-Main with an 11th-place finish in his B-Main. In the 100-lap main event, Owens recorded a 14th-place finish.
Owens is currently ninth in the LOLMDS point standings.
