Koehler Motorsports take Jimmy Owen to Dirt Late Model Dream at Eldora Speedway
On Wednesday afternoon, Jimmy Owens unloaded the Koehler Motorsports No. 20 machine at Eldora Speedway (Rossburg, Ohio) for the 30th-annual Dirt Late Model Dream.
With Mother Nature wiping out Wednesday's FloRacing Night in America event, Owens watched from the sidelines on Thursday as he was slated to participate in Friday's preliminary activities.
Sneaking into the $25,000-to-win preliminary feature, Owens charged from 23rd-place starting position to finish inside the Top-10 in ninth.
Starting sixth in a heat race on Saturday, Jimmy lost two spots to finish eighth which placed him deep in a B-Main. Despite a push to the front, Owens came up just short of the making the crown jewel.
