Jimmy Owens ninth in Show-Me 100 with Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series

For Memorial Day weekend, Jimmy Owens followed the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series to Lucas Oil Speedway (Wheatland, Mo.) on Thursday for the first night of the Show-Me 100.

For Thursday's $10,000-to-win Cowboy Classic, Owens struggled to find speed and was unable to transfer through his B-Main.

Picking up speed on Friday, Jimmy made up two spots in his heat race and started the 40-lap feature from seventh before landing a Top-5 finish in fifth.

Starting 14th in Saturday's $50,000-to-win Show-Me 100, Jimmy gained five spots to record a Top-10 finish in ninth.
