Koehler brothers tackle Doug Walls Memorial at Ultimate Motorsports & RV Park
On Friday afternoon, Jordan and Evan Koehler headed to their home track of Ultimate Motorsports & RV Park (Elkin, N.C.) to compete in the Doug Walls Memorial event.
Jordan was one of 43 Mid-East Super Late Model entries at the track. Taking a provisional to tag the tail of the field in the $10,000-to-win main event, Jordan made up nine positions in the 48-lap main event to finish 15th.
In the 602 Late Model division, Evan qualified seventh-fastest out of 20 entries before storming forward in the 20-lap feature to finish on the podium in second. He trailed race-winner Benji Hicks while Cole Apple completed the Top-3.
