Jordan Koehler scores pair of Top-10 finishes with SAS at Cherokee Speedway
On Friday evening, both Jordan and Evan Koehler were in action at Cherokee Speedway (Gaffney, S.C.) for the first night of the annual Mike Duvall Memorial with the Southern All Stars.
Among 32 Late Models signed in, Jordan automatically transferred to the A-Main in qualifying while Evan was unable to make the event in his B-Main. In the late 30-lap feature, Jordan stormed through the field to score a fifth-place outing. He rounded out the Top-5 as he trailed Trent Ivey, Chris Ferguson, Ben Watkins, and Anthony Sanders.
With only Jordan returning for Saturday's $12,000-to-win finale, Koehler topped his qualifying group which earned him a front-row starting position in the A-Main. Fading in the 50-lap feature, Jordan recorded a seventh-place outing.
