Koehler Motorsports tackles World 100 at Eldora Speedway

Jimmy Owens and Jordan Koehler unloaded their Koehler Motorsports rides at Eldora Speedway (Rossburg, Ohio) on Thursday afternoon to begin the 53rd-annual World 100 weekend.

With the whopping 102 Late Models split into two groups, both Jimmy and Jordan transferred to the evening's prelim feature in their respective heat races. For the $12,000 payday, Jimmy recorded a 15th-place outing while Jordan was an early retiree and was scored 24th.

For another round of prelims on Friday, Koehler was unable to make his A-Main starting field after a ninth-place finish in his B-Main while Owens barely missed a transfer spot in his B-Main.

For Saturday's $56,000-to-win finale, Koehler didn't transfer the main event but Owens charged from seventh-to-second in his heat race which placed him on the sixth row for the 100-lap main event. With the prestigious World 100 on the line, Jimmy completed 69 laps before he pulled off early. He was scored 17th.
