Owens Competes in March Madness
Jimmy Owens entered a single event over the weekend with a trip to Cherokee Speedway (Gaffney, S.C.) for the 2023 edition of the Ginger Owens March Madness.
Twenty-nine Southern All Star (SAS) Dirt Racing Series competitors entered the event, and Jimmy raced his way into the feature with a fourth-place finish in his heat race.
He raced to as high as the 11th position in the 50-lap event before ultimately calling it a day early on lap 36. Owens was credited with a 17th-place finish.
