Jimmy Owens brings home $50,000 championship with Hunt the Front Super Dirt Series
On Friday evening, both Jordan and Evan Koehler joined their teammate Jimmy Owens at Cherokee Speedway (Gaffney, S.C.) for the Hunt the Front Super Dirt Series finale as Owens wrapped up his pursuit of the 2025 championship.
Jimmy and Jordan raced their way into the $8,022-to-win opener on Friday and both recorded Top-10 finishes as Jordan finished 10th and Jimmy landed just off the podium in fourth. Jordan set quicktime in his qualifying group on Saturday and started alongside Jimmy in the 100-lap Blue-Gray 100. Jordan finished 17th while Jimmy suffered a late flat tire which relegated him to 19th. Evan did not make either main event on Friday on Saturday.
Despite the disappointing result in the final event, Jimmy Owens and his crew secured the 2025 points title with the Hunt the Front Super Dirt Series over Cory Hedgecock and Joseph Joiner.
