Jimmy Owens competes in penultimate weekend for Lucas Oil at Brownstown Speedway
Closing in on the final weekend with the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series, Jimmy Owens checked into Brownstown (Ind.) Speedway for the Jackson 100 after the finale at East Bay Raceway Park (Gibsonton, Fla.) was cancelled.
Finishing 17th in the $10,000-to-win opener on Friday, Owens found a little more speed in Saturday's Jackson 100 where he finished just outside the Top-10 in 11th.
