World Finals brings Koehler Motorsports to The Dirt Track at Charlotte

Jordan Koehler kicked off the extended week of racing a tad early by making a quick stop to Cherokee Speedway (Gaffney, S.C.) on Tuesday afternoon for the $7,500-to-win Prelude to the Finals.

Koehler qualified eighth-fastest and recorded a sixth-place finish in the 40-lap feature.

Joining his teammate Jimmy Owens at The Dirt Track at Charlotte (Concord, N.C.) on Wednesday afternoon, both drivers took part in qualifying night for the World Finals. Owens laid down the best lap by going 10th-fastest in Friday's group.

On the first night of racing, both Jordan and Jimmy missed the A-Main cutoff with Jimmy coming just one spot short in his Last Chance Showdown.

For another $15,000-to-win show on Friday, Koehler missed out on the feature while Owens started the 35-lap main event from the seventh row and finished 13th.

With Saturday's $25,000-to-win finale on tap, Jordan was unable to find anymore speed and missed out on the A-Main. Following a third-place finish in his heat, Jimmy started the 50-lap finale from the 16th-position and made up seven positions to land inside the Top-10 in ninth.
