**Paul Koehler to Run 50-lap feature Late Model Madness series Race at Chemung Speedrome**
Huge Program On Tap Sunday, May 22nd As Speedrome Welcomes Sunoco ROC Tour
(Chemung, NY) Mother Nature won out on Saturday night at Chemung Speedrome but race teams and fans had plenty of warning. Promoter Chris Zacharias canned the program early in the day, and it turned out to be the right decision. The track is now set for their special program this Sunday, May 22nd, when they welcome back the Race of Champions tour. The 75-lapper for the Modifieds is important two times over, with points awarded for both the ROC Central Division and the new Modified Mania series with Wyoming County International Speedway.
Late Models will also return to action at the Speedrome this Sunday. Their 50-lap feature kicks off the new Late Model Madness series. While the SST-Modifieds have the afternoon off, the other Speedrome divisions (Street Stocks, Legends, Factory Stocks, 4-Cylinders and Bandits) will all be running.
"We're thrilled to bring a show of this caliber to the Speedrome so early in the season," Zacharias stated. "We had a great opening night and this program is our way of thanking the fans and the race teams for their support of the track. It'll be a full afternoon, that's for sure."
Pit gates open at 9 AM on Sunday. Grandstand gates open at noon, when practice is scheduled to begin. Racing gets underway at 2 PM. Grandstand admission is $20 for adults and $13 for seniors 60 and over and kids 9 to 16. Children ages 9 and under are always admitted free.
